Arnaud Dupoizat

Arnaud Dupoizat was appointed Country Manager Turkey, based in Istanbul, on July 1st, 2018.
Mr. Dupoizat was previously IFC’s head of coverage for Western European financial institutions, based in Paris, and acting Paris office head. He joined IFC in 2003 in Washington, and has held various roles working on debt, equity, mezzanine and structured finance transactions in Washington, Istanbul, Belgrade and Paris.
Prior to IFC, Mr. Dupoizat worked in investment banking at BNP Paribas in Indonesia and Lazard in Paris. He holds a master’s degree from HEC Paris, a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Adrian Cohen

Adrian Cohen has been a partner in the firm’s restructuring and insolvency practice since 1998. He specialises in all aspects of corporate restructuring and insolvency law and practice. He co-ordinates the firm’s European insolvency and restructuring practice.
He has been involved in many large multi-jurisdictional restructurings and insolvencies. He has considerable experience in the energy sector spanning well over a decade. He advised a sponsor on the restructuring of the finances of two Dutch power projects. He is advising a group of lenders to an oil production company with interests in the North Sea as well as in other jurisdictions around the world. His is currently advising the lenders to a power project in West Africa. He has also advised on a number of restructurings of large infrastructure projects including Eurotunnel, where he acted for the providers of the new facilities and as advisor to an airport concession in North Africa. Korkut Ozturkmen

After graduating from Robert College, Korkut Öztürkmen received double major degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul.
In 1996, he joined Koç Holding's Strategic Planning Department to work in business and strategy development in the energy sector. He took part in the development, financing and implementation of many strategic projects with international partnerships including privatization tenders of the period in production, distribution and sales value chains in electricity, natural gas and oil sectors. Meanwhile, in 2002, he completed the Executive MBA program at Koç University.

In 2007; he joined OMV as the company's Country Manager for Turkey to lead the market entry activities covering Nabucco natural gas pipeline, natural gas wholesale, natural gas storage, power generation business units. Subsequently, he assumed responsibility of OMV’s power business as General Manager and Board Member. He managed the development, construction, operation and electricity sales operations of the 890 MW Samsun Combined Cycle Natural Gas Power Plant with an investment exceeding 600 million euros. At the same time, in order to diversify its production portfolio, the company also worked on renewable energy project development.

In 2013, he completed the Power2Lead ’senior leadership program’ at Ashridge Business School in the UK.

Following OMV's decision to leave the electricity business globally in 2018, he took an active role in the company's sales project.

Mr Öztürkmen recently joined IC Holding as the Energy Group President leading company’s power generation, trading and distribution assets. He also serves as the Vice President of the Electricity Producers Association and chairs working groups on electricity generation from natural gas, capacity mechanism and energy storage.

Korkut Öztürkmen is married and has a daughter.

Yusuf Bahadır Turhan

Yusuf Bahadır Turhan was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1982. He graduated from Ankara Ataturk Anatolian High School in 2000 as valedictorian while ranking first in the National University Entrance Exam same year. He received his BSc degree from Middle East Technical University (METU), Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2004 as salutatorian.
