Taking place on 25th April 2024 in Istanbul, the annual Turkish Infrastructure and Energy Finance Forum engaged participants in discussions about current project finance trends, market challenges and how to best accelerate the development of infrastructure and renewable energy projects. The highlights of this year’s conference included the $1.3 billion financing deal for the Yerkoy and Kayseri line, the launch of $155 million VC investment fund – Türkiye Green Fund (TGF), Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Debut Green Bond and examined the changing face of project finance, DFI and ECA Finance. The coverage also included new opportunities for energy storage in the energy transition process and what the pipeline looks like for sustainable infrastructure and M&A deals in these sectors.
