OVERVIEW OF THE EVENT

See What We Prepared For You

The Annual Türkiye Energy & Infrastructure Forum 2026 in Istanbul this September has, for more than a decade, brought together EPC contractors, lenders, energy developers, DFIs, and advisors to explore Türkiye’s evolving energy and infrastructure landscape.
The forum will spotlight the energy transition, including solar, wind, and storage projects, as well as grid developments, airport modernisation, transport, and social infrastructure. Panels will examine project pipelines, investment strategies, regulatory frameworks, and financing solutions, highlighting how collaboration between public and private sectors can drive growth.
Attendees will gain practical insights on M&A trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities, with a focus on building resilient, low-carbon energy systems and future-ready infrastructure. The event offers a focused platform for discussion, knowledge sharing, and connecting with key players shaping Türkiye’s energy and infrastructure sectors.
PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS

Energy and Infrastructure Market Outlook – Trends, Pipelines and Investor Appetite

This session provides an overview of Türkiye’s energy and infrastructure markets, highlighting key macroeconomic trends and investment dynamics. The State of the Energy Transition in Türkiye – Wind, Solar, Storage and H20

This panel explores Türkiye’s energy transition, focusing on wind, solar, hydrogen, and storage. Panellists will discuss the project pipeline, investment opportunities, and challenges around regulation, financing, and grid infrastructure, providing a forward-looking view of the country’s clean energy market.

11:30 – 12:00 Networking Coffee

Future-Ready Transport Hubs: Airports, Ports, and the Path to Sustainable Infrastructure in Türkiye

As demand grows across aviation and maritime sectors, airports and seaports are becoming complex infrastructure hubs requiring investment in energy, digital systems, and sustainability. This session examines Türkiye’s efforts to modernise transport infrastructure, covering renewable energy integration, electrification of ground and port operations, sustainable aviation and shipping fuel infrastructure, and smart technologies. Panellists will discuss how investors, operators, and policymakers can collaborate to future-proof transport assets while advancing decarbonisation, efficiency, and connectivity goals.

Creating a Competitive Infrastructure Investment Environment

As governments seek to attract private capital for large-scale infrastructure, Türkiye faces both opportunities and challenges in positioning itself as a preferred investment destination. This session brings together investors, lenders, and policymakers to discuss how regulatory frameworks, incentive structures, and risk-sharing mechanisms can enhance project bankability. Panellists will explore strategies to unlock private sector participation across public-private partnerships (PPPs), transport, energy, and social infrastructure projects, addressing market bottlenecks and fostering long-term, sustainable investment.

 13:30 -14:00 Networking Lunch

M&A and Investment Trends in Energy & Infrastructure

This session examines mergers and acquisitions in Türkiye’s energy and infrastructure sectors. Panellists will review recent deals, highlight the most active areas, and discuss how macroeconomic factors—such as interest rates and financing costs—are influencing investment decisions. The conversation will offer insights for corporate investors, strategic buyers, and VCs/CVCs on emerging opportunities and deal-making strategies.

Financing the Pipeline: Capital Solutions for Energy and Infrastructure

This panel brings together development finance institutions, export credit agencies, commercial banks, and sustainable finance specialists to explore how energy and infrastructure projects are being financed. Discussions will cover blended finance, guarantees, bonds, and ESG-linked instruments, highlighting how evolving structures are mobilising capital, managing risk, and supporting large-scale development while meeting sustainability and investor objectives.
