Türkiye Energy & Infrastructure Forum 2026 — A Look Back
On 25 September, we brought together some of the most important voices in Türkiye’s energy and infrastructure market for a full day of high-level discussion at Swissôtel The Bosphorus in Istanbul — co-hosted by the Invest in Türkiye Presidency.
The day opened with a macro outlook on market trends, investment appetite and the project pipelines taking shape beyond 2026 — with perspectives from OYAK, SOCAR Türkiye, Limak Yenilenebilir and Kalkınma Yatırım Bankası, moderated by Merion Advisory.
The energy transition session, moderated by EBRD, explored where Türkiye’s renewable pipeline really stands — with Efor Holding, Everllence and GUYAD discussing everything from wind and storage to flexible power generation and grid balancing.
The infrastructure session brought together TAV Airport Holding, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Limak Yatırım and MNK International to examine what is actually happening on the ground — from PPP closings and airport expansions to construction risk and the growing role of insurance in project bankability.
The sponsor panel, moderated by Dome Group, gave İC Holding, Borusan EnBW and Enerjisa the floor to speak candidly about where financing falls short and what needs to change.
After lunch, the financing session — moderated by QNB Türkiye — brought together ICD, the World Bank and EBRD to examine how multilateral and Islamic finance institutions are mobilising capital for the sector. The ECA session, moderated by KfW IPEX-Bank, featured SACE, CaixaBank, Çanakkale Otoyol and Çalık Group on what it takes to get ECA backing across the line.
The day closed with a verdict on Türkiye’s solar and storage pipeline — with TSKB, A Plus Energy and Invest in Türkiye weighing in on which projects are genuinely bankable and what separates the ones that get built from the ones that don’t.
A huge thank you to all our speakers, partners and attendees who made the day what it was. The conversations were candid, current and forward-looking — exactly what this Forum has stood for over more than a decade.
We look forward to seeing many of you again at our upcoming events, and to bringing the Forum back to Istanbul in 2027.
