Serban RomanSerban Roman

Country Director, Vice President, Enterprise Investors Romania

Serban joined Enterprise Investors in 2008 and he is currently Country Director for Romania and Vice-President. Serban Roman’  responsibilities include coordination of the firm’s investment activity in Romania and deal development. He was a member of the supervisory boards of Profi Rom Food (supermarket chain) and Macon Deva (construction materials manufacturer) and he currently holds the position of President of the Board of Directors of Noriel (the largest toys retailer in Romania). He is also a board member of South Eastern Europe’s Private Equity Association (SEEPEA).

Prior to joining EI, Serban worked for Ernst & Young (now EY) and for the M&A division of Unicredit in Bucharest. He graduated from the Romanian Academy of Economic Studies and is a fellow member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
