Emmanuel Daull is an Investment Director with CVI. Prior to joining CVI in 2018, Emmanuel spent 5 years in the corporate private debt team at Allianz Global Investors Paris. Earlier experiences include fianancial restructuring advisory at AlixPartners London and Paris, corporate ratings at Moody’s London and credit insurance at Euler Hermes Paris.
CVI is the leading private debt investor in the CEE region with c. 1.2bn AuM.

CVI offers a large range of products, mainly senior debt, junior debt, unitranche, mezzanine, minority equity to fund various purposes: working capital, capex, refinancing, M&A, dividend payment, financial restructuring.

Wolf LászlóLaszlo Wolf

Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Banking Division, OTP BANK Plc

Laszlo Wolf supervises the corporate business of OTP Bank Plc including: treasury; SME and large corporations, project and agricultural financing, loans and syndications; and financial institutions and acquisitions.

After graduating at the University of Economics in Budapest in 1983, he started his banking carrier at the Hungarian National Bank in different positions. In 1991 he was managing director and the head of treasury in BNP-KH-Dresdner Bank in Budapest. In 1993 he joined OTP Bank as a managing director of treasury. Since 1994 he has held his present position as head of commercial banking division.

OTP Bank started its international expansion in 2001 under the supervison of Mr Wolf, by entering the Slovakian market, followed by successful acquisitions in Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Romania, Ukraine and Albania. He is member of the board of OTP Bank, president of the board of directors of OTP Banka, Serbia, member of the supervisory board of DSK Bank, Bulgaria and vice president of the Confederation of Hungarian Employers.

He speaks English and German.

Arnaud Jossien is a Managing Director at BNP Paribas, in the Investment Banking CEE department. He has 20 years of professional experience in Corporate Finance, including both Equity Capital Markets and M&A. Arnaud has been covering Central & Eastern Europe, Greece and Israel for over 10 years, successfully advising numerous clients (corporates, financial investors, State entities) across all sectors.

Investment professional with 15 years of experience in private equity and real estate in CEE region. Investment experience covers start-up investments, investments in real estate development/asset management and large businesses, as well as fund management and investor relations. Currently working as a regional investment manager focusing on investments in infrastructure and specialised manufacturing.

Igor joined the team of CEE Equity Partners after almost 8 years of investment management responsibility within Bluehouse Capital – a very successful regional PERE fund manager focusing on real estate investments (development and asset management). Prior to that Igor worked for 3 years for Erste Bank Group where he was recruited to develop a real estate consulting and brokerage business for its Croatian operations.

Igor started his career working in investment banking in Milan, Italy, but very quickly he moved to Croatia to join one of the first PE/VC funds that was operating in Croatia at that time.

Igor holds a Masters’ degree in international finance from Brandeis IBS/Bocconi MIEM programmes, and is fluent in English, Italian and Croatian. In his free time, Igor enjoys tennis, cycling, running and mountaineering.

Elbruz YilmazElbruz Yılmaz

Investment Director, 3TS Capital

Elbruz is an Investment Director at 3TS Capital Partners, one of the leading European technology focused private equity and venture capital firms. He currently focuses on growth stage technology investments mostly in Central and Eastern Europe and leads investments in portfolio companies such as Solvoyo – a supply chain optimization software company, Eyerim – leading online eyewear retailer in CEE and Safesize – providers of omnichannel virtual fitting recommendation platform for footwear retailers. Previously Elbruz worked in various roles in venture backed software tech companies active across the US, Europe and Middle East. He also launched Turkey’s first seed fund at Inovent in 2008 and was one of the founders of Galata Business Angels (GBA) most active angel investor network in Turkey. Elbruz has a degree in Economics from Ege University and an MBA from Pittsburg State University in the US. He was born and raised in Turkey, lived in Germany, US and finally settled in Vienna with his family.

Stefan StoyanovStefan Stoyanov

Stefan leads the M&A data and analysis teams at ISI Emerging Markets Group, a renowned provider of business information for the world’s most dynamic economies. Stefan has worked on covering and valuing M&A deals across global emerging markets since 2011, after previously spending several years in investment advisory and asset management. He has authored various publications, analytical articles and newsletters on M&A. Stefan holds an MBA degree from the University of Michigan.

Stepan KarpukhinStepan Karpukhin

Managing Director, TRG

Mr. Karpukhin is a Managing Director at the New York-based asset management firm, The Rohatyn Group (TRG). He leads private equity investments across CEE. Mr. Karpukhin has completed and exited investments in many sectors, including pharmaceuticals, retail infrastructure, and consumer. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Prestige, a confectionary business; and Chairman of the Board at Pet Network, a pet care retail group.

Prior to joining TRG, from 2006 to 2013, he was an investment officer at Citi Venture Capital International (CVCI). At CVCI, Mr. Karpukhin led private equity investments throughout the EMEA region and Russia/CIS and served on the Boards of Directors of four portfolio companies. From 2000 until 2006, Mr. Karpukhin was with Booz Allen, a leading global strategy consultancy, based in London, where he led a variety of strategic and operational assignments for global clients in the retail, consumer, telecommunications, and oil & gas sectors.

Mr. Karpukhin holds an MS degree in Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence from Moscow Engineering and Physics Institute and an MBA from Duke University. He is an enthusiastic follower of developments in a broad range of technologies and a keen investor in technology start-ups.
